PHOTO: Patriots coach Bill Belichick does half-marathon
Even Bill Belichick needs some time away from draft preparations. The Patriots coach did that by running a half-marathon in Tennessee on Saturday morning.
Draft? What draft?
If your team's won 10 of the past 11 AFC East titles, then it's probably OK to take a quick break before the NFL Draft to run a half-marathon -- and that's exactly what Bill Belichick did on Saturday in Nashville, Tenn.
The Patriots coach ran the race with long-time girlfriend Linda Holliday. As you can see in the photo below, the two crossed the finish line in an unofficial time of two hours and 41 minutes. Belichick's official time was actually slightly faster than that though, according to the Music City Marathon's website, Belichick finished the race in two hours, 36 minutes and 46 seconds, which is even more impressive when you consider he wasn't wearing one of his magical hoodies.
