Art Modell, the longtime owner of the Browns and later the Ravens, passed away this week. To honor his contributions to the game, players around the league will wear an "Art" sticker. NFL Today analyst Shannon Sharpe once played for Modell and had this to say Sunday:

"He was a great guy. He loved his players. There's nothing that he wouldn't do for his players and his employees, and he's going to be sadly missed."

One of Sharpe's colleagues on the show, Bill Cowher, was an assistant coach for the Browns when Modell was the owner. He offered this: "He really did a lot for Cleveland, during the time of the 'Cardiac Kids,' 'The Fumble,' 'The Drive' ... and he was greatly respected by the players and the coaches."
