The Los Angeles Rams will be without running back Darrell Henderson Jr. for the second straight week, as the team announced Saturday that he had been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. In addition to being out for Monday's matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, it's possible he could miss next week's game against the Seattle Seahawks as well depending on his vaccination status.

Henderson missed last week due to a thigh injury, and head coach Sean McVay told reporters that he would miss Saturday's practice session due to an illness, per NFL.com. Apparently, that illness is COVID-related. Henderson is the Rams' leading rusher this season, as he has rumbled for a career-high 648 yards and five touchdowns on 142 attempts in 10 games played.

Sony Michel figures to be Matthew Stafford's lead back again, and he thrived in this role last week. Against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he rushed 24 times for 121 yards and one touchdown. Granted, this was against the 11th-worst defense in the NFL, while the Cardinals have a top-five unit.

Monday's matchup against 10-2 Arizona is an incredibly important one for 8-4 Los Angeles. The Cardinals bested the Rams, 37-20, in L.A. earlier this season in Week 4. If the Rams want a chance to potentially steal the division back, or maintain their current wild card spot, they need to register a win in prime time.
