Ravens pick up contract option on WR Mike Wallace

Wide receiver Mike Wallace will be back in Baltimore for the 2017 NFL season.

The Ravens picked up Wallace's 2017 contract option, the team officially announced on Thursday. 

Wallace's 2017 option is for $5.75 million. 

Wallace, 30, had a very solid 2016 season for the Ravens; his first in Baltimore. He led the team with 1,017 receiving yards and was second - behind only tight end Dennis Pitta - with 72 receptions. He is now Baltimore's most experienced receiver following the recent retirement of Steve Smith Sr.
