The Eagles are willing to pay impending free agent Byron Maxwell more than $10 million per year, Yahoo! Sports reports.

Maxwell said Thursday that he liked the Eagles defense and would consider signing with the team this offseason. The Eagles cleared some cap room by trading running back LeSean McCoy to the Bills and could make even more cap space before free agency opens Tuesday.

Maxwell recorded 39 tackles and two interceptions with the Seahawks last season.
