Tempers flared for two fans following the 49ers playoff victory over the Falcons Sunday. A witness told Atlanta's WSB-TV that a fight broke out after a 49ers fan walked past a Falcons fan upset with the outcome, the two exchanged words and the interaction quickly turned violent.

According to an eyewitness account, the Falcons fan began arguing with the 49ers fan in a parking lot outside the stadium, the confrontation became heated, and the Falcons fan was stabbed during the scuffle.

“Well, one of the Falcons fans just kept talking, telling him, 'You ain't going to come here and win and nothing,’ and he hit the man, and that's what happened. The man went into his pocket and cut him,” witness Tony Morgan told WSB-TV.

The victim, 35, is in stable condition and recovering in a local hospital. Meanwhile, the attacker remains on the loose.
