Report: Gregg Williams expects Browns to be aggressive in FA
Will the Browns be aggressive in free agency?
Cleveland Browns defensive coordinator Gregg Williams expects the team to be aggressive in free agency.
"I haven't been here long enough to go through all of that, yet, but I would be shocked that we're not because one of the things Jimmy Haslam and Hue have talked about when we sit down and talk together about going into this venture together was that we're going to be aggressive, not only in scheme, not only in how we play the game, but in personnel too. And we've got to do a good job of doing everything from coaching to playing to acquiring personnel there, too," Williams told the Bull and Fox Show on 92.3 The Fan.

Williams has said that retaining talent like linebacker Jamie Collins will make him a better coach. The Browns have the assets to be aggressive in free agency. Even after re-signing the Southern Mississippi product, Cleveland has the most cap space in the NFL.
Browns247 explored some of the free agents that the team could have an interest in signing, including some of the coach's former pupils.
