Report: Jason Pierre-Paul won't sign tender until he can pass physical
Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul, who sustained injuries to his hands as a result of a Fourth of July fireworks accident, won't sign his franchise tender until confident he can pass his physical to prevent the team from putting him on the non-football injury (NFI) list, a source told ESPN.
Pierre-Paul reportedly had his right index finger amputated Wednesday. Originally, it was believed Pierre-Paul had only suffered burns on three fingers and parts of both hands.
