Report: Kevin Minter signing with Bengals

Kevin Minter is reportedly off the market.

According to ESPN's Josina Anderson, the free-agent linebacker has agreed to terms with the Cincinnati Bengals. Minter's new deal is for one year, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Minter, 26, is a former second-round draft pick out of LSU who has started 37 of the 61 games in which he has appeared over the past four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. He has started all 16 games each of the past two seasons.

The 6-foot, 246-pound inside linebacker had a solid all-around season in 2016. In addition to his 81 tackles (59 solo, six for losses), he recorded 3.5 sacks and two defended passes.

In Minter, the Bengals receive an up-and-coming tackling machine with significant starting experience.
