The free agent running back market couldn't be softer these days. But that doesn't mean Maurice Jones-Drew won't find a home. He could find one as soon as Wednesday, when he's reportedly visiting with the Steelers.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports MJD will head to Pittsburgh and meet with the Steelers today. He also reports Pittsburgh is "not the only interested team."

The interest in Jones-Drew makes sense. Just three years ago, he was the NFL's leading rusher. MJD ran for 1,606 yards in 2011, but he also piled up 343 carries and hasn't really been the same since.

He'd be a nice fit in Pittsburgh for sure. Le'Veon Bell really emerged as a potential feature back down the stretch in 2013, but taking the pressure off him by utilizing MJD in the backfield (and perhaps putting Bell out as a receiver?) would increase his effectiveness.

Jones-Drew's a huge fan favorite in Jacksonville, but with their addition of Toby Gerhart it's hard to imagine him coming back to the Jaguars unless he takes a major paycut.

Of course, given how the running back market is moving these days, it's pretty unlikely MJD is going to find a ton of money out there from anyone. His decision might very well come down to playing time at this point.
