Report: Michael Vick still Eagles' starting QB (for now)

Hours after the Eagles were blown out of the Linc by the Falcons, quarterback Michael Vick told the media that coach Andy Reid was "obviously" thinking of making a change and that whatever happened, Vick would "support it."

Monday has been about more than football on the East Coast -- Hurricane Sandy forced the NFL offices to shutter its doors and several teams to close up shop -- but as it stands, Vick remains the starter … for now.

Reid has yet to make a move, sources told the Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane. Furthermore, neither Vick nor rookie backup Nick Foles have been told of any impending changes to the depth chart.

Reid doesn't have to rush, though; the Eagles don't play again until Monday and the players won't return to practice until Thursday.

The irony, of course, is that if this is the week that Vick loses his job, it will come after a turnover-free game in which the loss had little to do with him and almost everything to do with a shoddy defensive effort. Juan Castillo certainly knows the feeling.
