Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh could use an image makeover. And it might be Jay Z who gives it to him.

According to a report from Adam Schefter of ESPN, Suh has signed on with Jay Z's Roc Nation sports agency, giving HOV his biggest-name NFL client to date.

There's no confirmation on whether Jay Z will negotiate a contract or just help Suh market his brand, but Schefter reports that "Jay Z is expected to be in Suh's circle of advisors."

This is a good thing.

Suh's got a bad reputation as it stands, having piled up plenty of fine money for quesitonable behavior on the field. He's got the Thanksgiving stomping incident with Evan Dietrich-Smith a few years back that was followed up with his kick on the Texans Matt Schuab. Suh's misbehaving's almost become a Turkey Day tradition.

Add in multiple aggressive roughing-the-passer penalties and the subsequent fines and Suh's reputation needs repairing, whether he likes it or not.

Of course, Suh is also a great football player with pretty much unlimited upside as a pass rusher. And he's in the final year of his contract.

Suh left Relativity Sports recently and the Lions have said they want to keep him around. Given his insanely high cap number in 2014 ($22.4 million), negotiating a long-term deal makes sense for everyone involved.
