In a cost-cutting move, the Texans released tight end Owen Daniels in March. But now it looks like his next job will reunite him with his old head coach.

That's because, according to's Aditi Kinkhabwala, Daniels has agreed to terms on a contract with the Ravens, who happen to employ former Texans head coach Gary Kubiak as Baltimore's offensive coordinator. Reportedly, it's a one-year contract

Though Daniels is 31 years old and missed much of the season in 2013, he had a solid season in 2012, recording 62 catches, 716 yards and six touchdowns.

Though Baltimore gave tight end Dennis Pitta a five-year, $32.5 million contract in February, Daniels will add to an offensive attack that recently re-signed free agent tackle Eugene Monroe and landed former Panthers receiver Steve Smith. Expect to see Daniels and Pitta on the field together in plenty of two-tight end sets.

The Redskins and Packers also had reportedly showed interest in Daniels, who ranks No. 32 on the free agent list.
