Report: Vontaze Burfict fined for stomp vs. Patriots
The NFL has laid down its punishment for the Cincinnati Bengals linebacker for Sunday's conduct.
The NFL has reportedly fined Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict $75,000 for his stomp on the ankle of New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount, according to Zac Jackson of Pro Football Talk.
Jackson's report also says that Burfict plans on appealing the fine and does not feel that a stomp occurred. The NFL also informed him that he will not face punishment for a hit to the knees of Martellus Bennett on Sunday afternoon.

This is the ninth time that Burfict has been fined for on-field conduct and that does not include game checks that he missed from the three-game suspension he served to start the year.
