Russell Wilson has spent much of his life overcoming doubters. He did it in different sports in college, he did it in the NFL Draft and he did it while marching the Seahawks to the Super Bowl.

Don't doubt him and definitely don't doubt that he sees unlimited potential in his future. Wilson even said, after throwing out a first pitch for the Texas Rangers this week, that he believes he can be the "best quarterback to ever play."

"Why can't I be the best quarterback to ever play the game one day?" Wilson said. "I'm not right now. I've got a long way to go. But one day, you know?"

Wilson is NOT the best quarterback of all time. Some people don't even think he's "elite" yet. (Whatever the hell that word really means.)

But he did just win a Super Bowl. Add in the fact that he's one of the nicest guys in the NFL -- and genuinely nice too -- and there's no one who's going to rip him for thinking he can be great.
