A ruling on Friday from a three-person panel reversed the suspensions handed out to the players involved in Bountygate. As such, Will Smith, Jonathan Vilma, Scott Fujita and Anthony Hargrove are all eligible to play on Sunday when the first real action of the NFL season begins.

However,'s Jason La Canfora, citing a source with knowledge of the situation, reports the Browns' Fujita is unlikely to play on Sunday.

Fujita missed three preseason games as a result of injury and didn't practice or sit in meetings throughout the week because of his suspension. Cleveland coach Pat Shurmur typically doesn't use players who don't participate in the last practice of the week but did sound somewhat optimistic on Friday.

"I don't see a reason why he can't play," Shurmur said at his press conference.

A couple good reasons include: his injury, his lack of practice, and his lack of preparation. La Canfora believes the likelihood of Fujita even being active is pretty slim.

When it comes to the other players, only Smith seems likely to play. In fact, multiple reports indicate Smith will play, which makes sense considering how badly the Saints need defensive line/pass-rush help.

Vilma's not likely to play because he's still dealing with an injury and hasn't practiced, and Hargrove almost certainly won't play because he's not even on a roster at the moment.
