Steelers coach Mike Tomlin unfollows players cut last week
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin has been on Twitter for less than two months but he's applying the same rules to social media that he has for his players: The standard is the standard.
Which is why he's unfollowed all the those poor souls who didn't survive last Saturday's cut.
Details via the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "Tomlin follows only 53: his active players, a few who are injured and some team accounts. Not all players have Twitter accounts, which Tomlin plans to monitor all season."
Tomlin has tweeted just 14 times since joining in late July, and his timeline reads like a cross between Tony Robbins and R. Lee Ermey.
