Steelers restructure contracts of David DeCastro, Stephon Tuitt

The Pittsburgh Steelers have restructured the contracts of both guard David DeCastro and defensive end Stephon Tuitt, according to a report by Field Yates of ESPN.

According to Yates, each player reduced their base salary to $790,000 for 2018, converting the rest of their base salary and a roster bonus into a signing bonus. This has created $13.26 million in cap space for the Steelers.

DeCastro has been with the Steelers since 2012, while Tuitt has been with the team since 2014.
