The Tennessee Titans are coming off an incredibly successful campaign, where they made it all the way to the AFC Championship Game. Derrick Henry led the league in rushing yards, they found a new quarterback in Ryan Tannehill and general manager Jon Robinson made sure to keep both on roster for the 2020 season. While the Titans may have lost some important players such as Jack Conklin and Jurrell Casey this offseason, they made some nice additions in free agency and through the draft. But will they be able to build on their huge 2019 season? How much will the schedule help them out this year?

Below, we'll break down Tennessee's 2020 schedule by week and pinpoint all of the prime-time games to keep an eye on. We'll also dive into the Titans' strength of schedule, what we project as their toughest stretch of games and more. Without further ado, let's dive right into it.

Prime-time games

As noted above in the schedule breakdown, the Titans will be playing three prime-time games in 2020. They will have two on the road and one at home. In 2019, the Titans played in just one prime-time game-- a Week 3 matchup with the Jaguars on "Thursday Night Football" in Jacksonville.

Toughest stretch

As for the toughest stretch for the Titans, my eye goes directly to that Week 10 through Week 12 stretch. The Titans will face the Colts twice (once in prime time), and in Baltimore in between those two divisional matchups. The division could come down to the wire between the Colts and the Titans, so those three weeks are going to be absolutely crucial for Tennessee. Apart from worrying about the Colts, the Titans will have to travel to take on Lamar Jackson and Co. -- who are definitely looking for revenge after what occurred in last year's playoffs.

Strength of schedule

Earlier this offseason, John Breech broke down the 2020 strength of schedule for all 32 NFL teams based on combined opponent winning percentage in 2019. After finishing in second place in the AFC South, the Titans will face the No. 13 easiest strength of schedule in 2020. For a complete look at every team's strength of schedule, check out Breech's breakdown here.

However, when basing strength of schedule on the over/under win totals for each team's opponents during the 2020 season at William Hill, the Titans go from facing the No. 13 easiest schedule in the league to facing the second easiest. For a complete look at every team's strength of schedule using this methodology, check out Jared Dubin's full breakdown here.
