Week 3 NFL picks for Colts vs. Titans

Before you tune in to Sunday's Titans vs. Colts game, you need to see the NFL picks from SportsLine's advanced computer model. The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,800 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. It went a sizzling 24-14 on top-rated NFL picks last season, returning more than $800. The model also enters Week 3 of the 2021 season on an incredible 122-81 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

For Colts vs. Titans, the model is backing Tennessee (-5) to cover the Titans vs. Colts spread. Tennessee saw some of its big offseason additions pay dividends in the come-from-behind overtime victory at Seattle in Week 2.

Receiver Julio Jones had six catches for 128 yards. The Titans also made several additions to the defense and that side of the ball came up big late, holding Seattle to just six total points in the second half and overtime. The Titans signed defensive lineman Denico Autry from the Colts in the offseason and he had 1.5 sacks at Seattle.

Derrick Henry, however, remains the heart of Tennessee's offensive attack. He was elite again in Week 2, recording 237 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns. He makes defenses overload the box, opening up space in the secondary for Jones, A.J. Brown and the rest of Tennessee's passing attack.

SportsLine's model is calling for Jones and Brown to combine for around 150 receiving yards, while Henry goes over 100 total yards again. The Titans win by eight points in the simulations, covering the spread well over 50 percent of the time.
