Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is primarily famous for playing football. But he's carving out a pretty decent little niche as a food expert of sorts.

In May Brady released a $200 cookbook through his sports performance company TB12 and despite, you know, costing $200, it sold out in minutes.

Now Brady has another hot item: nuts.

The Patriots quarterback posted boxes of organic, performance snacks on the TB12 website Monday afternoon, offering up what appears to be 12 bags of snack nuts for a whopping $50.

Said nuts are already sold out. Which is pretty, well, nuts, because that's a pricey snack bag. Let's say there are 40 nuts per bag, an incredibly generous estimate. (David Schwimmer's dad averages like four cashews per bag by comparison.)

12 bags of 40 nuts equals 480 total nuts. Let's be even more generous and round up to 500 total nuts. At $50 total for the 500 nuts we're talking 10 cents per nut. Those better be some pretty frigging good nuts.

Like, avocado ice cream good.

Here's what you're getting -- two of each -- for your $50:

Blueberry Crunch: A combination of familiar and exotic ingredients packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and phytonutrients. (1.4 oz each.)

Amazon Crunch: A combination of the best the rainforest has to offer in a tasty, easy-to-eat, nutrient-packed crunch. (1.4 oz each.)

Superfood Energy Squares: A delicious, healthy, energy-sustaining square, packed with nutrient-dense superfoods. A great pre- & post-workout snack. (1.75 oz each.)

Cacao Goji Energy Squares: A great pre- & post-workout snack with energy-sustaining dates, antioxidant-rich cacao, and nutrient-dense fruits & nuts. (1.75 oz each.)

Dark Cocoa Coconut: A simple combination of antioxidant-rich dark chocolate and coconut: a tasty, healthy alternative to traditional sweet snacks. (1.4 oz each.)

Buffalo Almonds & Ranch Cashews: A classic flavor combination reinterpreted with healthy, nutrient-rich almonds and vitamin & mineral-rich cashews. (1.4 oz each.)

It's all irrelevant, though, because the nuts are no mas. They sold out within hours of Brady posting them online, meaning if you want to get some of Brady's special nuts you'll have to wait until another shipment comes in.

Brady's nuts are a hot seller. via

Brady has a particularly odd and particularly bizarre set of dietary habits. But they've served him well. So well he can sell his dietary habits to the public and everyone is gobbling them up. If it's good enough for Brady it's good enough for a select number of rich people who want to be healthy.
