The Green Bay Packers continued the preparations for Thursday night's game vs. the Chicago Bears and it's highly likely they will be missing a number of players due to injuries.

It was announced CB Sam Shields (concussion) has been placed on injured reserve but the Packers hope to have him back in eight weeks. The Packers also announced they have acquired RB Knile Davis from the Chiefs to add depth to a depleted running back position.
