Tyler Eifert to practice on Wednesday, per Marvin Lewis
The Cincinnati Bengals could finally be close to getting one of their best players back on the field when they need him most.
The Cincinnati Bengals have been hungry for some good news on tight end Tyler Eifert and got it on Wednesday afternoon.
Head coach Marvin Lewis spoke to the media before Wednesday's practice and confirmed that Eifert would be practicing for the first time since suffering a back injury a few weeks ago in practice.
Eifert has yet to play in a game this season while rehabbing from offseason ankle surgery. He returned to practice on a limited basis in Week 3 before suffering a setback in his recovery with the back injury.

It remains to be seen if Eifert will play against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday or how much he will participate in team drills this week. C.J. Uzomah and Tyler Kroft have been holding the position down, but the Bengals offense could use the boost from the 2015 Pro Bowler.
We will know more on Eifert when the injury report is released later this afternoon.
