Reggie Bush's previous seven seasons in the NFL included stops in two cities that are known for their nightlife. During his first five years in the league, Bush had Bourbon Street in New Orleans. For the past two years, he had South Beach in Miami. Now in Detroit, Bush has neither of those. And he's fine with that.

"I came here to work. I didn't come here to vacation," Bush told the Detroit News after the Lions' second OTA this week. "I came here to win championships, to win football games and that's what I look forward to doing."

Bush knows a little bit about championship football. He played in two national title games at USC and won a Super Bowl with New Orleans in 2009. So, can Bush actually win a championship with Detroit, a team that has only been to the playoffs once since 2000? "As long as we take care of business here, this can be an amazing place," Bush said. "I think it has a lot to offer. I look forward to getting into that stadium and hearing those fans be as loud as ever."

Even with his big-game experience, Bush has found that some teammates only want to talk about fun things, like South Beach. "Some guys have been asking me, 'How was Miami? How was South Beach?'" Bush said. "I tell them, 'You know, it's nice, but if the football isn't right, it doesn't matter where you are at. If your work isn't right, you're not going to be happy.'"

The Lions weren't happy last year, finishing the season 4-12 and last in the NFC North. Bush will bring a history of NFL success to Detroit. Since his rookie year in 2006, Bush's teams have averaged 8.9 wins per season.
