Vikes' Peterson (foot) says he's 'ready to roll' vs. Bengals
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals, indicates he will be ready to play.
Peterson was inactive vs. the Eagles in Week 15, and was not happy about it, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported.
Peterson, whose 1,221 yards on the ground put him second in the NFL to Philadelphia's LeSean McCoy in rushing, said he expects to play after doing some work in practice and feeling improvement in his foot.
"I'm looking forward to playing this week," Peterson said. "Get another day to rest [Saturday], which is going to be good. I'll be ready to roll."
