Von Miller says troubled Johnny Manziel is on the right track

If there's one thing you'd say about Johnny Manziel right now it would probably not be that he's "on track." And yet a former teammate at Texas A&M -- and reigning Super Bowl 50 MVP -- believes Manziel is doing fine.

Broncos linebacker Von Miller, in Texas to see his Aggies play basketball, told the Associated Press he's "not worried" about the Browns quarterback right now.

"I'm not worried. I feel like Johnny's taking care of business. He has adversity. Everybody has been here with adversity. I've been here with my own personal adversity. The support that I'm giving him is the support that he's given me in the past."

Miller also added he and Manziel speak pretty regularly, text often and he thinks he's got things behind him and is headed in the right direction.

"I truly believe he's on the right track now," Miller said.

Last we heard on Manziel he was at another former teammate's wedding (Mike Evans of the Buccaneers) and still a suspect in an ongoing investigation involving an alleged instance of domestic violence.

Manziel's ex-girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, alleged Manziel ruptured her eardrum.

Manziel is likely going to be cut by the Browns as soon as the new league year begins.
