Going into Week 1, the scouting report on the Bengals offense was pretty simple: They only have one proven receiver on the roster, so don't let that guy beat you.

Apparently, the Jets ignored that key part of the scouting report because A.J. Green torched the Jets defense for a 54-yard touchdown on Sunday. Green didn't just torch anyone, either, he visited Revis Island and left the place in shambles.

That sound you hear is Revis Island sinking to the bottom of the sea.

The long touchdown pass gave the Bengals a 10-7 lead.

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton seems to be very aware that Green is the only proven receiver on the team's roster. Through the first 25 minutes of the game, Dalton was 6 of 11 for 151 yards with Green on the receiving end of most of those passes.

Including the touchdown, Green had four catches for 74 yards through the game's first 25 minutes. Dalton doesn't have Marvin Jones or Mohamed Sanu because they left in free agency. The quarterback is also missing tight end Tyler Eifert due to injury.

Although Green's score gave the Bengals the lead, the Jets have battled back and take a 16-10 lead. To keep tabs on what's happening at MetLife Stadium, be sure to follow along with our CBSSports.com Game Tracker by clicking here.
