WATCH: Tom Brady embraces parents after Super Bowl win

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was a Malcolm Butler interception away from the ignominious distinction of losing in three straight Super Bowl appearances. Instead, he was catapulted to the top of the "best ever quarterbacks" conversation after earning much-deserved MVP honors.

More than anything, Brady seemed happiest sharing the moment with his family:

And yep, we're pretty sure that's former Red Sox player Kevin Youkilis in the background. (He's married to Brady's sister.)

Next up: The 37-year-old quarterback will start preparing for the 2015 season -- and beyond. Brady's made it clear that he wants to play into his 40s. And given how he ended the 2014 season, there's no reason to doubt him (sound familiar?).
