So who, if anyone, will roll the dice on Ray Rice now that he has won the appeal of his indefinite suspension? While there are several things you should know about his reinstatement, the Indianapolis Colts will be far and away the team most connected to Rice.

Rice and Pagano have a strong relationship, and Rice is very well thought of by former teammates like Cory Redding and Art Jones who are members of the Colts.

Indianapolis needs a running back or two, and Ahmad Bradshaw's ankle injury could be career-threatening. Rice would be their best back and also help in the screen game, where Bradshaw was huge. And he is strong in pass protection, an area they are suffering.

Rice would come at a cheap price. He'd prefer to stay somewhat near New Rochelle, his home, and a smaller town and smaller media market is preferred. Indy seems like a good fit, but would Jim Irsay be willing to do it?

This will be an ownership decision given all the baggage involved.
