Pressley will face a two-game suspension once he signs with an NFL team, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The reason for Pressley's suspension remains undisclosed, but it appears the off-field issue is fully settled. The 26-year-old led the AAF in rushing with 431 yards on 96 attempts (4.5 YPC) and one touchdown through eight games, and he has two workouts with NFL teams scheduled next week.
Pressley is the AAF rushing leader through six weeks, with 75 carries for 343 yards (4.6 average) and one touchdown for the Arizona Hotshots.
Pressley also has nine catches for 72 yards and two scores, making a decent case to get another look in the NFL once the AAF season is over. He went undrafted out of New Mexico in 2016 and subsequently bounced around from Minnesota to Green Bay to Atlanta to New York. The 26-year-old has never made an appearance in an NFL regular-season game, though he did land on the Packers' 53-man roster for Week 1 of 2016.
Pressley was waived by the Giants on Saturday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic New York reports.
Pressley joined the Giants late in the preseason with the team in need of another body in the backfield for their final preseason games. While Pressley won't be on the final roster this year, he is now a candidate to make New York's practice squad if no one else claims him.
Pressley was signed by the Giants on Monday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
The Giants were in need of another body at running back while Saquon Barkley (hamstring) and Jalen Simmons (concussion) nurse their injuries. Pressley has yet to appear in a regular-season game since entering the NFL in 2016, so he'll be a longshot to make the 53-man roster in New York.
Pressley signed with the Falcons' practice squad Monday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Pressley originally signed with the Falcons in mid-August before being cut this past weekend. He'll now have an opportunity to stick around the organization with the practice squad as a depth option at running back.
Pressley signed with the Falcons on Wednesday.
Pressley still remains a long shot to make the 53-man roster, but at least he'll have the opportunity to prove his worth during the preseason. The 25-year-old hails from New Mexico and most recently suited up as a member of Green Bay.
Pressley expects to re-sign with the Packers next week, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Pressley was released this week with the Packers in need of a roster spot at another position, but it appears team and player have come to an agreement that he will rejoin the roster after spending one week off it.
Pressley was released by the Packers on Wednesday.
Pressley was a healthy scratch Week 1. His release opens one spot on the Packers' active roster.
Pressley is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Pressley isn't nursing an injury, but will sit this one out due to coach's decision. Eddie Lacy and James Starks will take care of running back duties for the Packers, with FB Aaron Ripkowski conceivably in the fold as well.
Pressley is inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Jaguars due to a coach's decision.
Pressley was claimed off waivers by the Packers last Sunday, leaving him little time to get accustomed to his new team's playbook. Once he's up to speed, look for Pressley to serve as a third-down back as he fills in for John Crockett (shoulder), who was placed on IR last week.
Pressley was claimed off waivers by the Packers on Sunday, Ben Goessling of ESPN reports.
According to reports, the Packers are planning on using Pressley as a third-down back.
