Reeves-Maybin (neck) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Reeves-Maybin was able to suit up against the Rams in Week 13 despite his neck injury, so it's somewhat surprising to see him land on season-ending injured reserve. It remains to be seen whether the second-year pro aggravated his injury during last week's loss. Kelvin Sheppard and Nicholas Grigsby could benefit from slightly increased snaps with Reeves-Maybin sidelined.
Reeves-Maybin (neck) will play in Sunday's game versus the Rams.
Reeves-Maybin plays sparingly behind Christian Jones and Devon Kennard at outside linebacker, as he has recorded just 20 defensive snaps over his last four outings. The second-year pro shouldn't be considered in the fantasy realm.
Reeves-Maybin (neck) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Reeves-Maybin sat out last week's loss to the Bears due to a lingering neck injury, and he could be a game-time decision for Sunday's tilt against the Rams. If Reeves-Maybin were unable to suit up Week 13, Miles Killebrew and Eli Harold could once again receive a slight increase in snaps.
Reeves-Maybin did not appear in two consecutive games due to a neck injury before returning last week against the Panthers, but he'll head back to the sideline Thursday. Miles Killebrew and Eli Harold are slated to provide depth at outside linebacker behind Christian Jones and Devon Kennard.
Reeves-Maybin (neck) doesn't carry an injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Panthers.
Reeves-Maybin has missed the last two games with this injury. The Tennessee product was a limited participant in practice Wednesday and Thursday but practiced in full Friday. Reeves-Maybin will likely resume his second-string role behind Christian Jones.
