Boozer signed a futures contract with the Buccaneers on Monday, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.
Boozer, an undrafted rookie in 2018, spent most of the season on the Buccaneers' practice squad. He'll look to move up the depth chart and secure a backup role on the active roster in 2019.
Boozer (concussion) returned to practice Wednesday, Greg Auman of The Athletic Tampa Bay reports.
The rookie tackle's absence spanned two weeks. His return comes at a particularly good time for the Bucs, considering the team's current depth shortage along the offensive line. It's unlikely Boozer will have any immediate impact in his first season, but Tampa Bay is certainly glad to have the big fella back for practice purposes.
