J'Mon Moore: Cut by Browns
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore was let go by the Browns on Thursday, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.

The 2018 fourth-round draft pick of the Packers spent the offseason in Cleveland after logging time on the Browns' practice squad last season. He could garner interest from teams looking to add some young wideout depth on the regular-season roster or practice squad.

Browns' J'Mon Moore: Moves off NFI list
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore (undisclosed) was activated off the active/non-football injury list Saturday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

It's unclear why Moore was on the list to begin with, but in any case the the third-year receiver will now have an opportunity to compete for a spot on the Browns' 53-man roster.

Browns' J'Mon Moore: Lands on NFI list
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Browns placed Moore (undisclosed) on the active/non-football injury list Sunday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Moore spent time on Cleveland's practice squad last season, but he hasn't seen any game-action since logging two catches with the Packers as a rookie in 2018. When cleared to return to practice, he'll compete to stick as a reserve receiver with the Browns.

Browns' J'Mon Moore: Signs reserve/future contract
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore signed a reserve/future contract with the Browns on Monday, Scott Petrak of The Chronicle-Telegram and Medina Gazette reports.

Moore joined the Browns practice squad at the end of November after being cut by the Packers at the end of the preseason. A former fourth-round selection, Moore has only recorded two receptions for 15 yards in his career.

J'Mon Moore: Signed to Browns' practice squad
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore was signed to Cleveland's practice squad Monday, Marla Ridenour of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Moore is a 2018 fourth-round draft pick by Green Bay out of Missouri. The 6-foot-3 wide receiver spent all of last season and the 2019 training camp with the Packers before being waived in the final cuts.

J'Mon Moore: Cut by Green Bay
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore was let go by the Packers on Saturday, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.

Moore was expected to compete for a starting role after Randall Cobb's departure in the offseason, but it became clear early on that the 2018 fourth-round pick had been surpassed by the likes of Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Geronimo Allison, Jake Kumerow and Trevor Davis on the depth chart. Moore's draft pedigree will likely give him a shot on another roster, but he'll almost certainly join the Packers' practice squad should he pass through waivers.

Packers' J'Mon Moore: Makes one reception
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore caught one pass for five yards in Thursday's preseason loss to the Raiders.

A car accident Moore was involved in the prior week did not have any lasting effects, as Moore was able to take the field just one week later. However, he caught just one pass, and he has just three receptions for 12 yards and a touchdown through three preseason games. Moore was a fourth-round pick last year, so his upside could still earn him a roster spot. However, he has been outproduced during the exhibition season by several other pass catchers competing for the same job, so he's likely on the outside looking in heading into the fourth and final preseason game.

Packers' J'Mon Moore: Involved in car accident Friday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore appears to have avoided any injuries stemming from a car accident he was involved in Friday, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Post-Gazette reports.

Moore's chances of making the Packers' final roster had already been dwindling as he failed to see a single target during Thursday's preseason game against the Ravens, so a car accident just piles on to the recent stretch of misfortune. He seems to be doing fine after the incident, however, so he'll continue to battle for a reserve role at wide receiver heading into the team's third preseason tilt against the Raiders on Aug. 22.

Packers' J'Mon Moore: No targets in Thursday's outing
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore did not have a single target in Thursday's preseason game against the Ravens.

Despite scoring a touchdown in last week's preseason opener, Moore still let some potentially big plays slip away from him, and he ended up not seeing any opportunities in the passing game Thursday. Moore's chances of making the Packers' final roster are certainly looking slimmer than they were a couple weeks ago, especially with the emergence of Allen Lazard and Darrius Shepard this preseason.

Packers' J'Mon Moore: Up-and-down exhibition opener
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore caught two passes for seven yards and a touchdown in Thursday's preseason opener against the Texans.

Moore ran a nice route to convert a score from the one-yard line, but he also let a pass into the end zone just a few plays earlier fall through his hands, and slipped coming out of a cut on what could have been a long reception earlier in the game. The Packers liked Moore enough to draft him in the fourth round in 2018, but he had a quiet rookie season and now finds himself on the roster bubble. More consistency over the rest of the exhibition season would go a long way in helping him secure a spot on the roster for Week 1.

Packers' J'Mon Moore: Praised for new approach
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore earned praise for the way he approached the offseason training program, Michael Cohen of The Athletic reports.

The first of three receivers the Packers drafted in 2018, Moore made less of an impact as a rookie than either of his counterparts in Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown. However, Moore has reportedly been praised for the way he's accepted blame and worked to turn things around this offseason. There's no guarantee he'll earn a roster spot this time around -- Geronimo Allison and Jake Kumerow are also top candidates for slotting under Davante Adams -- but Moore at least seems to have a non-zero chance of making the 53-man roster out of training camp given his potential to contribute on special teams.

Packers' J'Mon Moore: Little impact in rookie season
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore caught one pass for five yards in Sunday's loss to the Lions.

Moore was the highest drafted of the three receivers the Packers selected in the 2018 draft, coming off the board in the fourth round. However, he had nowhere near the impact of fellow rookie wideouts Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown, who were taken in the fifth and sixth rounds, respectively. Moore will head into the offseason well behind both players on the depth chart, and he'll need to impress a new coaching staff to earn a roster spot, let alone a more prominent role, in 2019.

Packers' J'Mon Moore: No snaps in Week 15
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore was active for Sunday's loss to the Bears but did not play a snap on offense.

Moore suited up for the 10th time in 11 games, but as regularly been the case this season, he was limited to special-teams duty only. He returned a kick in Week 14, but the Packers did not run back any kicks against the Bears, so he did not see any opportunities in that regard, either.

Packers' J'Mon Moore: Gets shot as kick returner
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore returned one kickoff for 26 yards in Sunday's victory over the Falcons.

The Packers have shuffled kick returners all season, and Moore was the latest player to get an opportunity. He remains a non-factor on offense, finishing with no snaps there for the second straight week, but he may have earned himself another chance to take back kicks.

Packers' J'Mon Moore: No snaps Week 13
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore suited up for Sunday's game against the Cardinals but did not play a snap on offense.

Moore received 11 snaps the previous week, but he was bumped down the depth chart two spots Sunday and was a non-factor with fellow receivers Randall Cobb and Jake Kumerow returning from injuries.

Packers' J'Mon Moore: Non-factor in Week 12
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore played 11 offensive snaps in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Vikings but wasn't targeted.

Moore suited up for the fourth straight week and was the Packers' de facto fourth receiver, but he was a non-factor on offense, even with fellow pass catcher Equanimeous St. Brown briefly leaving the game with a right elbow injury.

Packers' J'Mon Moore: Won't play Sunday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Rams, Michael Cohen of The Athletic reports.

Moore saw limited offensive snaps during Green Bay's previous three regular season games due to multiple injuries to the team's starting wide receivers, but will now return to a depth role as expected. With Davante Adams, Randall Cobb, Geronimo Allison, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown all firmly ahead of Moore on the depth chart, the rookie is a long shot to carve out a notable offensive role this season.

Packers' J'Mon Moore: Makes first career reception
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore caught one pass for 10 yards in Monday's victory over the 49ers.

Moore worked as the Packers' No. 4 wide receiver for the second straight week and tallied the first reception of his professional career. He figures to fall down the depth chart a couple spots after the Packers' Week 7 bye with fellow receivers Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison likely to return from hamstring injuries.

Packers' J'Mon Moore: Works as fourth option despite injuries
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore played 14 snaps in Sunday's loss to the Lions but was not targeted.

Moore suited up Sunday for the second week in a row, and had an opportunity to see some work with fellow receivers Randall Cobb (hamstring) and Geronimo Allison (concussion/hamstring) both sidelined. However, he worked as the fourth option behind Davante Adams and fellow rookies Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown, so he ended up with only minimal chances to contribute. Moving forward, consider Moore sixth on the Packers' depth chart at the wide receiver position behind all other players -- when healthy -- mentioned here.

Packers' J'Mon Moore: Active for second straight week
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Moore is active for Sunday's game against the Lions.

Moore suited up in Week 4 for the first time as a professional, and he will do the same this week with both Randall Cobb (hamstring) and Geronimo Allison (concussion/hamstring) inactive. It's not particularly clear what type of role Moore will play Sunday, but he did see some first-team reps at practice this week and will presumably slot in as the Packers' third receiver behind starters Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
