Byndom (undisclosed) reached an injury settlement with the Ravens on Wednesday, Jayson Braddock of SportsTalk 790 reports.
It's unclear why Byndom landed on injured reserve in the first place, but he's now eligible to sign elsewhere.
A quartet of injured Panthers have landed on their inactive list for the Sunday game against the Browns. Among them are running back DeAngelo Williams (hand), cornerback Carrington Byndom (hamstring), linebacker A.J. Klein (knee) and guard Amini Silatolu (knee).
The healthy scratches are safety Robert Lester, defensive tackle Kyle Love and offensive tackle David Foucault.
The Panthers have listed seven players on its final injury report for Week 16 against Cleveland, four of which were deemed questionable. Those four include linebacker A.J. Klein (ankle), guard Amini Silatolu (knee), running back DeAngelo Williams (hand) and cornerback Carrington Byndom (hamstring).
Meanwhile, safety Roman Harper (thigh), quarterback Cam Newton (back) and linebacker Thomas Davis (knee) were listed as probable.
The Panthers have ruled out quarterback Cam Newton (back) and guard Amini Silatolu (knee) for Week 14 against Tampa Bay. Running back DeAngelo Williams (hand) was the only player on Carolina's final injury report ruled doubtful for the game.
The following players were deemed as probable: Wide receiver Philly Brown (shoulder), cornerback Carrington Byndom (illness), center Ryan Kalil (rest), linebacker A.J. Klein (knee), tight end Greg Olsen (knee), guard Chris Scott (foot), guard Amini Silatolu (knee) and running back Jonathan Stewart (hip).
The Panthers announced cornerback Carrington Byndom and linebacker Horace Miller have been promoted from the practice squad to the 53-man roster Tuesday.
The promotions were made possible after the Panthers released cornerback Antoine Cason and linebacker Jason Williams.
The Panthers filled up their practice squad, signing cornerback Carrington Byndom, linebackers Adarius Glanton and D.J. Smith, receivers Tavarres King and Marcus Lucas, safety Robert Leste, running back Darrin Reaves, offensive tackle Andrew McDonald and defensive tackles Micanor Regis and Casey Walker.
The Panthers parted ways with 21 players Saturday.
