Campbell was cleared from his mild hamstring strain Thursday, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports.
Campbell was waived by the Saints on July 30 and placed on injured reserve a day later, although he didn't count against their 90-man roster limit. Now healthy, the 23-year-old has been let go by New Orleans and is ready to work out for teams in hopes of finding a roster spot before the season starts.
Campbell (undisclosed) was shifted to the Saints' reserve/injured list, per the NFL's Official Transaction page.
Campbell went unclaimed on waivers after he was waived with an injury designation by the Saints on Tuesday. At this point, the severity and nature of the injury remain undisclosed. The former Penn State player will stay on the IR but won't count against the 90-man roster limit.

Campbell's injury is unclear in both nature and severity. The 23-year-old has yet to make his NFL regular-season debut. Campbell dealt with an ankle injury in last season's training camp before being waived by Arizona. He was eventually picked up by the Saints on Jan. 21.
