Wint signed his exclusive rights tender from the Jets on Monday, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports.
Wint appeared in two games for the Jets during his rookie campaign, recording one tackle and one forced fumble. Now back for a second season in New York, Wint will again be in contention for a 53-man roster spot in 2019.
Wint was signed to the Jets' active roster Thursday, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
Wint spent time with the Jets in the offseason before joining the team's practice squad in the regular season. He's being promoted to the active roster to fill in for Jeremiah Attaochu (concussion), who was moved to injured reserve. Look for Wint to operate primarily as a special teams player and depth linebacker.
