The Colts reached an injury settlement with Binford (undisclosed) on Friday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Binford was released by Cardinals in May before signing with the Colts in June. He was not expected to land on the final roster before getting injured.
Binford (undisclosed) was waived by the Colts on Monday, Mike Chappell of IndySportsCentral.com reports.
Binford will be moved to the Colts' injured reserve if he clears waivers. Had he remained healthy, he was figured to have a long shot at land a spot on the final roster.
Binford was released Wednesday by the Cardinals, Kent Somers of The Arizona Republic reports.
The Cardinals let go Binford along with fellow receivers Chris Hubert and Marvin Hall to create roster room. The 26-year-old played a few seasons in the Arena Football League before spending time with the Packers in training camp prior to the 2016 season. Arizona signed Binford toward the end of March, but he'll now have to look for another opportunity.
