De'Angelo Henderson: Could join 53-man roster
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Coach Doug Pederson said Friday that Henderson could be promoted to the Eagles' active roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Patriots, Zack Rosenblatt of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Darren Sproles (hip) is out for the season and Jordan Howard (shoulder) could be sidelined this weekend, leaving the Eagles searching for backfield depth. Henderson signed to Philadelphia's practice squad in mid-October after spending most of the offseason with Minnesota. Former Eagle Jay Ajayi is also scheduled to work out for the team Friday.

De'Angelo Henderson: Joins practice squad
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Eagles signed Henderson to the practice squad Monday, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.

Henderson spent much of the offseason in Minnesota, but he ultimately didn't make the team's final roster. He now lands on the practice squad of an Eagles team which recently placed Corey Clement (shoulder) on injured reserve. If Henderson is able to show well on special teams, he could potentially be promoted to the active roster later in the season.

De'Angelo Henderson: Let go by Vikings
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson was cut by the Vikings on Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Henderson failed to find playing time with the Broncos and Jets during his first two seasons, and it does not look like the third time will be the charm in Minnesota. Still, this is not much of a surprise given the Vikings' depth at running back. He could still potentially land on the team's practice squad during the regular season.

Vikings' De'Angelo Henderson: Finds the end zone
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson ran for 59 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries and added a eight-yard catch during Thursday's 27-23 preseason loss to Buffalo.

Henderson came into Thursday having been fairly productive this preseason, with 78 yards on 17 carries. He obviously added to that total significantly Thursday while also punching in his first touchdown, a three-yarder early in the fourth quarter. Offensive headman Gary Kubiak is familiar with Henderson from his time in personnel in Denver, but with a full running-back room and no real need at returner, Henderson doesn't have an obvious spot on this team.

Vikings' De'Angelo Henderson: Returns to action
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson (ankle) had 10 carries for 36 yards in Saturday's preseason win over Arizona.

Henderson was held out of practice most of last week due to a sprained ankle, but it doesn't look like a serious issue. He still faces an uphill battle to make the final roster as he's likely behind Mike Boone and Ameer Abdullah in the competition for the No. 3 running back role.

Vikings' De'Angelo Henderson: Back at practice Thursday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson (ankle) returned to practice Thursday, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Henderson was held out of practice most of the week due to a sprained ankle. It's unclear if he returned in limited fashion or if he was a full go on Thursday.

Vikings' De'Angelo Henderson: Nursing sprained ankle
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson did not practice Sunday due to a sprained ankle, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Henderson rushed seven times for 42 yards in Friday's preseason game against the Saints, but it's unclear if that is when he suffered the injury. Regardless, Henderson should be considered day-to-day, but with a sprained ankle, it wouldn't be surprising if the tailback missed a couple more practices.

Vikings' De'Angelo Henderson: Impressive first preseason game
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson had seven carries for 42 yards in Friday's preseason win over New Orleans.

Henderson faces an uphill battle to win a roster spot, as the Vikings may carry just three running backs, and the top two spots (Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison) are likely set. With Ameer Abdullah likely to win the kick return job, Henderson will need to beat out Mike Boone and hope the Vikings keep more running backs.

Vikings' De'Angelo Henderson: Claimed by Minnesota
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Vikings claimed Henderson off waivers Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Henderson was waived by the Jets on Tuesday after spending most of 2018 on their practice squad. He'll need to battle for a spot on the 53-man roster in Minnesota, where the backfield depth chart contains Alexander Mattison, Mike Boone and Ameer Abdullah behind lead option Dalvin Cook. The Vikings reduced their numbers at the position earlier in the week by cutting Roc Thomas (suspension).

De'Angelo Henderson: Cut loose by Jets
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Jets are cutting Henderson, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The 2017 sixth-round pick had an uneventful rookie season in Denver and spent most of 2018 on the Jets' practice squad. His chances to earn a spot on the 53-man roster took a big hit in June when the Jets re-signed Bilal Powell.

Jets' De'Angelo Henderson: Pushing McGuire for reps
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson worked ahead of Trenton Cannon during OTAs and eventually stole some reps from Elijah McGuire, Connor Hughes of The Athletic reports.

The Jets signed Le'Veon Bell, Ty Montgomery and Bilal Powell during the offseason, likely leaving four or five young players to compete for the No. 4 running back spot. Henderson was selected by Denver in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft and spent most of 2018 on the Jets' practice squad. He'll need to continue his strong work throughout the summer in order to stick around for another season.

Jets' De'Angelo Henderson: Remains with Jets
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson signed his exclusive rights free-agent tender with the Jets on Tuesday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Henderson appeared in only three games with the Jets in 2018 and had two carries for 19 yards. The 26-year-old appears to be the No. 4 running back with Le'Veon Bell and Elijah McGuire locked into the top two roles, while Trenton Cannon appears to have the inside track for the No. 3 role.

Jets' De'Angelo Henderson: Sticking with Jets for 2019
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Jets are extending a tender to Henderson, an exclusive rights free agent, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.

Henderson will stick around in New York to compete for a roster spot after spending most of 2018 on the team's practice squad. The 2017 sixth-round pick was released by the Broncos in early September, losing out to rookie sensation Phillip Lindsay in a battle for the final running back spot alongside Devontae Booker and Royce Freeman. The Jets backfield figures to look much different in 2019, with Isaiah Crowell and Bilal Powell (neck) potentially getting replaced by free agents and/or draft picks. Powell is scheduled for unrestricted free agency, while Crowell is a candidate to be released during the offseason.

Jets' De'Angelo Henderson: Rushes for just 19 yards
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson had just two carries for 19 yards across two games in 2018.

Henderson spent much of the season on the Jets' practice squad, and when active he saw only three offensive snaps. He's yet to see much action in his first two seasons and likely will need to showcase value on special teams in order to carve out a roster spot in 2019.

Jets' De'Angelo Henderson: Rejoins Jets
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson was promoted to the Jets' 53-man roster Friday, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.

Henderson had a brief stint on the Jets' active roster earlier this season but has otherwise been on the team's practice squad. The 26-year-old provides depth at running back with Isaiah Crowell (toe) on injured reserve and Trenton Cannon (toe) questionable for Saturday's game against the Texans.

De'Angelo Henderson: Back on Jets' practice squad
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Jets signed Henderson to their practice squad Wednesday, Darryl Slater of NJ.com reports.

Booted off the 53-man roster last week when Elijah McGuire (foot) was cleared to return from injured reserve, Henderson will remain in the New York organization after failing to attract interest from other teams. It will likely take another injury to one of the Jets' backfield options before Henderson warrants a consideration for a promotion back on the active roster.

De'Angelo Henderson: Let go by Jets
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson was waived by the Jets on Friday, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports.

Henderson was promoted from the Jets' practice squad last week, but Elijah McGuire (foot) is set to return from injured reserve, negating he need for an additional running back. Henderson could return to the team's practice squad, assuming he goes unclaimed on waivers.

Jets' De'Angelo Henderson: Signs with Jets
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson was promoted to the Jets' 53-man roster Saturday, Darryl Slater of NJ.com reports.

Henderson was released at roster cutdowns at the start of September by the Broncos and has since been on the Jets' practice squad. The 25-year-old should slot in as the team's No. 3 running back behind Isaiah Crowell and Trenton Cannon, but may not have an extended stay with the team as Elijah McGuire is eligible to return off injured reserve in Week 9.

De'Angelo Henderson: Rejoins Jets' practice squad
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Henderson agreed to sign with the Jets' practice squad Thursday.

Henderson was cut from Gang Green's practice squad just Wednesday, but he's rejoined the unit following the placement of Harvey Langi (undisclosed) on injured reserve. The 2017 sixth-round pick will continue to work towards earning a potential depth role on the Jets' 53-man roster.

De'Angelo Henderson: Released from practice squad
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Jets cut Henderson from their practice squad Wednesday.

Henderson latched on with the Jets' practice squad after failing to secure a 53-man roster spot out of preseason with the Broncos. Looking for depth along the offensive line, New York parted ways with the 2017 sixth-round pick in favor of Dieugot Joseph. Henderson is now free to sign with another team's practice squad.
