Killings (ankle) was waived from injured reserve Monday, Andrew Walker of the Colts' official site reports.
The Colts placed Killings on injured reserve on Nov. 15 after suffering an ankle injury. The first-year defensive back spent time on both the practice squad and active roster this season, though he didn't see any game action.
Now that Killings was placed on IR, he's forced to sit out for a minimum of eight weeks, ending his 2018 campaign. The Central Florida product had spent time with both the practice squad and the 53-man roster for the Colts this season, failing to suit up in game action.
Killings was promoted to the 53-man roster from the practice squad Tuesday but then cropped up on the injury report with the ankle issue Thursday as a limited participant. The 23-year-old will have to wait at least a week to make his Colts' debut.
