Nacua was signed to Baltimore's practice squad Saturday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Nacua spent the offseason with Baltimore and was on the fringe of a roster spot as the preseason came to a close. He'll have a chance to get promoted to the active roster if the team faces a rash of injuries, especially to the secondary.
Nacua was waived by the Ravens on Friday.
Nacua played 216 defensive snaps for the Browns in 2017 , but the Raven's depth at the safety position made the rotational player expendable. The 23-year-old will become an unrestricted free agent if he goes unclaimed on waivers.
Nacua played 216 defensive snaps last season, playing some safety for the Browns in addition to his role as a special teams player, but the team's addition of Damarious Randall as the proposed free safety made him expendable. He made just 14 tackles -- 12 solo -- while appearing in all 16 games last season and joins a team that already possesses an established option at free safety with Eric Weddle. Nacua will likely be limited mainly to special teams duties in 2018 but could see the field if injuries surface.
Nacua was waived by the Browns on Monday, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.
Nacua appeared in 16 games for the Browns last season, logging over 200 snaps on defense and another 140 on special teams. He'll become an unrestricted free agent if he clears waivers.
