Hunt (undisclosed) has landed on the Raiders' injured reserve per the NFL's official transaction log.
Hunt was originally waived with an injury designation but went unclaimed on waivers. Unless he and the team can come to terms on an injury settlement, he is set to spend the rest of the season on IR.
The Raiders waived/injured Hunt (undisclosed) on Friday, Jerry McDonald of the East Bay Times reports.
It's unclear what type of injury Hunt is dealing with. The 24-year-old originally signed with the Raiders in mid-December, but now will have to focus on getting healthy and finding a new opportunity elsewhere.
Hunt signed a contract with the Raiders on Tuesday.
Hunt went undrafted in 2017, and had two stints on the Broncos' practice squad before now signing with the Raiders. The 23-year-old will work to make his NFL debut by carving out a special-teams role in Oakland.
