Barrett inked a contract with the 49ers on Monday.
The 25-year-old didn't suit up in the league during the 2019 season, as he was most recently released with an injury settlement by the Raiders out of training camp. Barrett has appeared in two games in his career, both with Detroit, accumulating one assisted tackle in that span.
