Grimes (undisclosed) reverted to the Eagles' injured reserve list after going unclaimed on waivers Thursday, NFL reporter Aaron Wilson reports.
The Florida product was signed as an undrafted free agent this offseason, but was injured during OTAs. The specifics of the injury remain unclear, but Grimes will reside on IR for the remainder of the season unless he agrees to an injury settlement with Philadelphia.
