Sieg should slot in as an immediate replacement for long snapper Andre DePaola (knee), who is out for the season. Oakland will work to acclimate Seig to their special teams playbook as quickly as possible, so the undrafted free agent could see the field as early as Sunday's game against the Broncos.
Sieg is expected to sign with the Raiders, Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
The move will not be made official until Wednesday, but with Andrew DePaola (knee) out for the season, the Raiders need to fill their long-snapping duties as soon as possible. Sieg spent the offseason with the Ravens.
