Coleman (concussion) was waived/injured by the Buccaneers on Saturday, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Coleman suffered a concussion in the Buccaneers preseason finale. If he clears waivers he'll revert to the team's injured reserve.
Coleman recorded three tackles (two solo) and played 30 defensive snaps prior to leaving the game. The 21-year-old signed a contract with the Buccaneers on Aug. 10 after being waived by the Lions in the spring.
Coleman was most recently waived by the Lions after signing with them this spring, and he'll now likely just serve as a training camp body in the wake of the groin injury Vernon Hargreaves suffered in the season opener.
