Harris was waived by the Chiefs on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
The 24-year-old has been on the Chiefs' active roster all season, but his only game action came in Week 7. Harris could still stick around on the practice squad if he clears waivers.
Harris notched four solo tackles across four regular-season games with the Chiefs in 2019.
Harris also appeared in one game for the Buccaneers, during which he played 11 snaps on special teams, before being waived by the team in October and landing on Baltimore's practice squad. The Chiefs signed him to a two-year contract mid-November, at which point he settled into a reserve role at defensive end. Harris will now compete to secure a similar gig for 2020.

Harris was signed off Baltimore's practice squad. He appeared in one game with the Buccaneers this season, recording 11 snaps on special teams. The second-year pro's opportunity in Kansas City comes with defensive end Alex Okafor (ankle) nursing an injury and Emmanuel Ogbah (pectoral) on injured reserve.
