Harris signed a futures contract with Tampa Bay on Monday, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.
Harris played in one game for the Buccaneers in 2018, logging just 11 total snaps. He'll look to secure a backup role along the defensive line next season.
Harris was waived by the Buccaneers on Friday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Harris was waived to make room for fellow undrafted rookie Godwin Igwebuike on the 53-man roster. The 22-year-old defensive end will be free to search for a depth role elsewhere in the league if he goes unclaimed on waivers.
Harris was promoted to Tampa Bay's active roster Tuesday, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Harris will take the place of defensive end Will Clarke, who was released. The rookie out of Buffalo will provide depth on Tampa Bay's defensive line.
