Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Throws for 343 yards in loss to Falcons
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Rodgers completed 33 of 50 passes for 343 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Sunday's 34-23 loss to the Falcons. He added eight rushing yards on two carries.

The Packers offense entered the game without either of its starting tackles and consequently, Rodgers seemed to be hurried and on edge all night. It certainly didn't help that he lost two of his top three receivers in Jordy Nelson (quadriceps) and Randall Cobb (shoulder) before game's end. The health of all aforementioned players is critical to not only Rodgers', but the entire team's success. If the bunch isn't able to go in Week 3, Rodgers could have trouble finding a rhythm against a Bengals defense that's allowed 125 yards passing or less through the season's first two games.

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Comes up big down stretch
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Rodgers completed 28 of 42 passes for 311 yards, one touchdown and one interception, adding seven carries for 21 yards, in Sunday's 17-9 win over the Seahawks.

The Seattle defense didn't make things easy for Rodgers, who nonetheless came through with big plays when it counted most. The highlight was a 32-yard touchdown pass to Jordy Nelson down the seam on a 3rd-and-2 with Earl Thomas and Bobby Wagner in coverage. Clearly unafraid of a challenge, Rodgers will return to Atlanta next week looking to avenge his loss from last year's NFC championship game. He finished that game with three touchdown passes, but each of them came in the second half after Atlanta jumped out to a 31-0 lead.

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Barely plays against Denver
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Rodgers completed three of five passes for 12 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Broncos.

Rodgers actually got more playing time in the previous exhibition and was removed before the end of the first quarter Saturday. Per ESPN's Rob Demovsky, the 33-year-old quarterback recently mentioned that he feels better than he did at this time the past couple years, benefitting from additional offseason training and an improved diet, in addition to taking nearly a full month off from throwing this summer. The Packers seem to be on board with limiting the stress on Rodgers' prized right arm. He'll presumably be held out of the preseason finale ahead of a Week 1 matchup with Seattle.

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Playing Saturday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Rodgers is expected to start Saturday's preseason game at Denver, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.

Prior to his exhibition debut Saturday, Rodgers handled the initial snaps with the first-team offense, forecasting an imminent appearance. He's following a similar routine this week, so he's in line for extensive run in preseason Week 3, which is the game in which starters league-wide earn their largest snap count.

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Sharp in abbreviated action Saturday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Rodgers completed six of eight passes for 37 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions in Saturday's 21-17 preseason win over the Redskins. He also rushed twice for 15 yards.

After sitting out last week's preseason opener, Rodgers was in mid-season form on a 15-play, 75-yard opening drive for the Packers that culminated in his three-yard touchdown pass to offseason acquisition Martellus Bennett. Rodgers took a seat after that possession, having accomplished what he'd set out to do in his first taste of exhibition action. The multi-time Pro Bowler encouragingly connected with four different pass catchers (Bennett, Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson and Davante Adams) during his time on the field. Rodgers is likely to see more action in next Saturday's contest against the Broncos, although it wouldn't be surprising to see head coach Mike McCarthy curtail his playing time somewhat relative to what serves as the norm for the third preseason game.
