The Seahawks made several roster moves to get down to Tuesday's 75-player limit. They waived defensive tackle Michael Brooks, receiver David Gilreath and linebacker Horace Miller with injury designations.
Seattle also put linebacker Heath Farwell, cornerback A.J. Jefferson and guard C.J. Davis on injured reserve. Cornerback Eric Pinkins was placed on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list.
According to Sports Radio KJR in Washington, the following players will not suit up for the Seahawks Friday night against the Chargers in preseason action: wide receiver David Gilreath, safety Kam Chancellor, cornerback A.J. Jefferson, cornerback Akeem Auguste, cornerback Eric Pinkins, linebacker Bruce Irvin, linebacker D'Anthony Smith, linebacker Bobby Wagner, linebacker Korey Toomer, center Max Unger, guard C.J. Davis, defensive tackle Jimmy Staten, defensive tackle Michael Brooks, tackle Russell Okung and wide receiver Kevin Norwood.
Running back Lance Ball and offensive lineman Ryan Lilja, who was attempting a comeback, where the two most notable cuts made by the Broncos on Saturday.
The offensive cuts were as follows: center C.J. Davis, running back Jeremiah Johnson, tight end Jake O'Connell, offensive lineman Philip Blake, tackle Paul Cornick, wide receiver Tavarres King, tackle Vinston Painter, wide receiver Gerell Robinson and wide receiver Lamaar Thomas.
Those on defense waived were end Jeremy Beal, tackle Romney Fuga, tackle Ben Garland, cornerback Aaron Hester, linebacker Damien Holmes, safety Ross Rasner and defensive end John Youboty.
The Broncos also placed linebackers Stewart Bradley and Lerentee McCray, as well as defensive end Quanterus Smith on IR. Star linebacker Von Miller is now on the Reserve/Suspended list.
