The Ravens used three New England turnovers to jump to a 24-0 lead and were never really threatened. Tom Brady really struggled, which was strange to see in the playoffs. He just never got into a groove.
I don't know how badly Tom Brady is hurt, but I do know what the Baltimore Ravens told me ... and they said it looked as if he doesn't plant on his left leg with confidence or comfort. They weren't talking just about Sunday. They were talking about this season.

Expert Picks (against the spread)
Harmon: Tom Brady could have success against a Ravens defense that didn't look sharp against QB Charlie Frye.
Prisco: I think the Patriots will have trouble with the Baltimore defense and this will be a field-goal game with New England in a really close game.
Judge: Pats never lost at home this season.
Madden: Too many things going against the Pats to overcome Ravens looking for revenge.
Richard: Patriots had a hard time containing Ravens when their defense was healthy. Now it's banged up and the Ravens are riding high. Loss of Wes Welker will sting Patriots.
Urbano: Wes Welker out, Ed Reed in. I like the more physical Ravens to win on the road.

Video Recap (AP) From the very first play, Ray Rice and the Ravens made the team of the last decade look like the pushovers of the new one.
Rice burst up the middle for an 83-yard touchdown with frigid fans still settling into their seats, Tom Brady turned the ball over three times and Baltimore knocked off New England 33-14 on Sunday in a stadium where the Patriots had never lost a playoff game.
Community Take
patsfan50: Well, congrats to the Ravens for playing a good game and getting the win. I don't think I've seen the Pats look like that in the playoffs since back in 1986, against the Bears in the Super Bowl. Too bad you can't just throw out the first quarter. Now I just hope the trophy goes to anyone but the Jets, Chargers or Ravens. I just don't like any of the three teams. The Jets are too cocky, Ray Lewis is a thug and LaDainian Tomlinson is classless and whiny. I wouldn't mind seeing Minnesota, Indianapolis or New Orleans take it. Again, good game by the Ravens... even if I hope you lose next week!
Gomexican: Brady looked like he just didn't have the answers... and by didn't have the answers, I mean he didn't have the answers whispered in to his ear from upstairs. Bill better hope he can get some satellite photos next season, or the genius' job might be in trouble.
