08/22/17LBDeone BucannonAnkleQUESTIONABLEArizona activated Bucannon (ankle) from the Physically Unable to Perform list Tuesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Bucannon will merely dabble in morning walkthroughs off the bat with an eye toward practicing at some point in the preseason. A return to drills next week is thus ideal to get in at least a week of practice before the Cardinals' first game of the season. It's unclear if he'll play his typical spot at dollar linebacker upon returning, as 2017 first-round pick Haason Reddick has filled in ably in Bucannon's stead. However, Bucannon should handle the role unimpeded once healthy.

08/19/17WRAaron DobsonHamstringQUESTIONABLEDobson (hamstring) is not expected to suit up against the Bears for Saturday's preseason matchup, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Dobson missed the first two preseason games with this hamstring injury, and he was expected to return Saturday since he practiced in full Tuesday. The 2013 second-round pick doesn't have an overly-impressive resume to fall back on, so proving himself in preseason is essential to making the 53-man roster in Arizona.

08/16/17LBPhilip WheelerFootQUESTIONABLEWheeler is considered day-to-day after suffering an undisclosed injury, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Wheeler signed with the Cardinals on Thursday and is fighting to earn a role as a backup linebacker. His day-to-day status likely indicates the injury isn't overly serious and shouldn't be expected to hinder him long-term.

08/15/17WRJohn BrownQuadricepsQUESTIONABLEBrown (quadriceps) is slated to practice Monday before leaving the team to attend a funeral, Josh Weinfuss of reports.

Brown's quad injury hasn't stopped him from taking part in drills, albeit in a limited fashion, but his explosiveness has been notably absent. Monday will likely be no different just two days removed from head coach Bruce Arians stating Brown "had no chance" to play in the Aug. 19 exhibition against the Bears. Once practice concludes Monday, Brown will leave the team for the rest of the week before meeting the team for Saturday's exhibition in Atlanta. Whether or not he suits up remains to be seen.

08/15/17WRBrittan GoldenGroinQUESTIONABLEGolden (groin) isn't expected to play Saturday against the Bears, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Golden is looking to hang onto a roster spot as a depth wide receiver and kick returner. This injury has been hindering Golden since Monday, and his next chance to play is Aug. 26 in Atlanta -- an important game if he wants to solidify his Week 1 spot on the depth chart.

08/09/17DBRudy FordHamstringQUESTIONABLEFord will miss Saturday's preseason tilt with the Raiders due to a hamstring injury, Kent Somers of The Arizona Republic reports.

Ford is dealing with a lingering hamstring injury that will keep him sidelined for Saturday's game. If he hopes to make up lost time, Ford will have to get back to the field sooner rather than later and start turning some heads. As it stands, Arizona is rather deep in its secondary and likely to make some cuts before the regular season rolls around.

08/05/17LBJarvis JonesBackQUESTIONABLEJones' back hasn't responded to an epidural injection and he may require another, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Sidelined since the early portions of camp, Jones doesn't appear to be nearing a return to action anytime in the near future. With Jones out, Nordly Capi saw a huge chunk of snaps (62) during the team's first preseason contest. Jones' extended absence could also impact his ability to immediately join the pass-rush rotation in his first season with Arizona.

07/25/17DLEd StinsonHamstringQUESTIONABLEStinson injured his hamstring in Monday's practice, Kyle Odegard of reports.

After sitting out most of last season with a toe injury, Stinson was looking to bounce back this season but will be hindered by this injury for the time being. In the four games he played in 2016, he hovered around 50 percent of the defensive snaps. It's unclear how serious this injury is, but once everything is cleared up Stinson could battle Robert Nkemdiche for playing time at defensive end.
